You are provided with access to this Website in accordance with these Conditions and any orders placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions.
The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
The Jflemay web site is copyrighted. Jflemay projects and products are protected by copyright and design registration.
Product delivery and destinations
Unless otherwise stated in the Product Description, we ship within two weeks of receiving payment for your order. Our delivery service normally takes 1-2 working days to the UK, 2-3 days to Ireland, France and Germany, 4 days to Italy and Spain, and 6 days to the European countries farthest from the UK.
We deliver to the 28 countries of the European Union plus Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway and Switzerland.
Returns within 14 days
The “Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013” legislation gives you the following cancellation rights when you buy online from Jflemay.
Your cancellation rights do not apply to products that are customised to a variation not normally offered on our Website at the time of purchase.
This doesn’t affect your statutory rights if products are faulty or not as described.
Your right to cancel
Your right to cancel an order for products starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day the products are delivered. If your order consists of multiple products, the 14 day period runs from the day the last item is delivered.
This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the products back.
Your right to a refund
You should get a refund within 14 days of either us getting the products back, or you providing evidence of having returned the products (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.
A deduction can be made if the value of the products has been reduced as a result of you handling the products more than was necessary. The extent to which you can handle the products is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.
We have to refund the basic delivery cost of getting the products to you in the first place, so if you opted for enhanced service (for example, guaranteed next day) we will only refund the basic cost.
How to cancel your order
Write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org including your name, phone number and order number. If everything checks out, we’ll send you a return address.
You must return the products to us at your cost, using a tracked delivery service with insurance covering the value of the products. Pack the products carefully to prevent damage during transport.
Standard of quality
Jflemay products are made with care to be durable and to age beautifully.
Unless stated otherwise, their normal use is domestic or clerical, indoor only. Within normal use, they are safe, withstanding the loads and meeting the standard stated on their product page.
Where made of natural materials, they come with natural features such as knots and patches in plywood. Care must be taken to avoid staining them with liquids in particular.
The “Consumer Rights Act 2015” gives you the right to expect that Jflemay products are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described on our Website.
If a Jflemay product does not meet this standard,
- Within 30 days of delivery, you have the right to return the product for a refund.
- Within six months of delivery, you have the right to a free repair or replacement of the product. After one attempt, if it still doesn’t meet this standard, you have the right to return the product for a refund.
In either case we’ll pay for the return delivery. You should get a refund within 14 days of either us getting the products back, or you providing evidence of having returned the products, whichever is the sooner.
The following do not constitute a failure to meet the warranted standard:
- Normal wear under normal use of the product;
- Wear or failure under abnormal use, for example exceeding the stated capacities;
- Staining of the product, even if it came with a protective finish;
- Features in natural materials, such as knots and patches in plywood;
- Minor scratches;
- A user finding it difficult to assemble the product, more than the average user.
